I’ve been feeling under the weather the past few days (and my, have we had a lot of weather to feel under!), so no draws to post. However, today’s poem is one of my favorites, so I am making \u00a0sure it’s posted.<\/p>\n

To A Young Girl<\/p>\n

Mt dear, my dear, I know
\nMore than another
\nWhat makes your heart beat so;
\nNot even your own mother
\nCan know it as I know,
\nWho broke my heart for her
\nWhen the wild thought,
\nThat she denies
\nAnd has forgot,
\nSet all her blood astir
\nAnd glittered in her eyes.<\/p>\n
